The Peak Light 30 S is a mountaineering backpack designed by the brand Ortovox, ideal for tackling the most impressive glaciers, whether it's those surrounding the Dent Blanche or the famous Weisshorn in the Valais Alps. With a shorter back, this backpack is aimed at smaller mountaineers. The Peak Light 30 S lives up to its name: its weight of 1,070 grams can indeed be reduced by 380 grams, as you can remove the lid, hip belt, some external attachment options, and the aluminum back structure.

The Peak Light 30 S offers incredible versatility, as you can use it for high-altitude hikes when it has all its structures, or as an ultra-light climbing backpack (690 grams when you decide to lighten it) for multi-pitch climbing. A featherweight alpine backpack thanks to its nylon material, the Peak Light 30 S is also extremely robust and water-resistant, thanks to the polyurethane-coated nylon. Moreover, the new triangular construction of the top lid allows different positions when the rope is attached. Thus, the removable top lid can be stored in the main compartment or removed completely.

Finally, you will appreciate the various attachment systems of the Peak Light 30 S, whether for skis, poles, rope, helmet, or ice axes, as well as its gear loops and its circular zip allowing quick access to the contents. When minimalism is synonymous with functionality: the Peak Light 30 S is made for mountaineers seeking performance.
