Stability and grip are ensured by the high-performance, durable, and rigid Vibram Multigrip 3 Alpin Light soles.
Protection? It hasn't been forgotten. The Litepeak GTX® indeed feature a highly effective full rock guard that, combined with the robust suede leather, ensures total protection for your feet.
Additionally, small streams, mud, and rain showers will no longer scare you thanks to the 100% waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex® membrane featured in the Litepeak.

Gore-Tex®: Membrane making the shoe 100% waterproof and windproof while offering optimal breathability. Durable, it provides maximum comfort and protection.
Vibram®: Vibram soles are made of rubber offering very high grip, waterproofness, and abrasion resistance.
VarioFix®: This is a Meindl® lacing system that guarantees a perfect fit of the heel area. During lacing, the "speed wire" strap is pulled precisely and uniformly around the heel. This provides the best and most comfortable grip possible around the heel.
