  • The lenses are made of unbreakable polycarbonate, 10 times more impact-resistant than plastic or glass lenses, offering the highest degree of protection.
  • Frame made of Grilamide TR90: this high-tech, highly flexible material offers very light weight and excellent performance in all weather conditions.
  • The optical adapter allows you to integrate prescription lenses for optimal vision during sports. Available as an accessory.
  • Soft rubber nose pad for extreme comfort and optimal fit around the nose.
  • These sunglasses have rubberized friction temple tips.

BLIZ sunglasses lenses are segmented into 4 sub-categories:

  • The Hydro Lens System: Default lenses used on BLIZ sunglasses, developed to offer high performance for all athletes. It features the following technologies: hydrophobic treatment, scratch resistance, impact resistance, and UV protection.
  • The NanoOptics lenses: Developed to offer superb vision with the minimum possible distortion, featuring the following technologies: anti-fog treatment, distortion reduction, scratch resistance, hydrophobic treatment, impact resistance, and UV protection.
  • The NanoOptics Nordic Light lenses: Specially developed to offer clear vision in difficult conditions (whiteout) and/or low light, enhancing contrast and boosting colors. It features the same technologies as the classic NanoOptics lens but has a different lens called "Extreme Contrast".
  • The NanoOptics Photochromic lenses: Developed to offer the most versatility possible, adapting to lighting conditions by lightening when overcast and darkening when sunny. It also includes all the technologies of the classic NanoOptics lens.

Regarding sunlight conditions:

  • Category 0 lenses are recommended for use in very low light conditions or evening. The visible light transmission (VLT) rate is between 80 and 100%.
  • Category 1 lenses are recommended for use in low light conditions or cloudy weather. The VLT rate is between 43 and 80%.
  • Category 2 lenses are recommended for use in medium light conditions or partially sunny weather. The VLT rate is between 18 and 43%.
  • Category 3 lenses are recommended for use in bright light conditions or sunny weather. The VLT rate is between 8 and 18%.
  • Category 4 lenses are recommended for use in very bright light conditions, such as in high mountains. The VLT rate is between 3 and 8%.
  • Photochromic lenses adapt to lighting conditions by lightening when overcast and darkening when sunny.
