More comfortable than Moab 2. Feel warmer which is not so good in summer. The insoles have been improved but I still prefer to use replacement insoles. The tread grips well.
This is my 3rd pair of these shoes over the last few years. I've found them to be very comfortable and pretty well made, lasting about 2 years a pair (with approx 300 miles walking a year). I had chance to compare them to Berghaus Fellmaster shoes recently and found the Berghaus to be lightweight and not very stiff in comparison, so I'm pleased I bought the MOABs again.
