BaffinSnostorm - Snow boots - Men's

Designed for outdoor leisure, the Snostorm snow boot is particularly comfortable on icy surfaces or snow-covered ground. Part of the "Tundra" range by Baffin, this men's shoe includes a tendon protector and a rim to facilitate compatibility with snowshoes. Tested by Baffin ambassadors during marathons and ultra-marathons in the Arctic and Antarctic, they are perfectly suited for long treks in very (very) cold weather.

For greater agility, the mid-height shaft of the Snostorm is thermoformed and breathable. Underfoot, the midsole ensures light insulation and good cushioning. The outer sole is made of Polar Rubber for maximum grip and increased durability, especially in cold weather. The thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) plate ensures good torsional rigidity.

In terms of insulation, the Snostorm features a multi-layer fixed liner system that provides good thermal regulation by retaining heat inside the shoe while repelling cold and wicking away moisture. And to top it off, the Snostorm benefits from highly effective waterproofing technology, offering great waterproofness and increased breathability.

Upper of the shoe:

• Breathable and thermoformed soft shaft
• Quick lacing system at the front with a pull tab at the back for easy foot entry

Base of the shoe:

• EVA midsole providing light insulation and good cushioning
• Polar Rubber outsole ensuring maximum grip and durability of the boot in cold weather
• Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) plate ensuring torsional rigidity
• Tendon protector and rim facilitating compatibility with snowshoe bindings
• B-TekMC Scent-Free antimicrobial lining near the foot to eliminate odors
• Removable, stabilizing, and antimicrobial insole

Shoe insulation:

• Multi-layer fixed liner system including:
• Comfortable Thermawick lining material that wicks away moisture to ensure greater breathability and better thermal regulation
• Comfortable soft foam B-TekMC lining
• Lightweight B-TekMC Heat insulation with 4-channel hollow fibers allowing great breathability over a wide range of temperatures
• Fixed plate protecting against cold that retains heat inside and repels cold outside to regulate temperature
