These trousers are quite well designed and fairly well made, although the pop-stud waist fastener failed on one pair as soon as I tried them on for size. I would omit the velcro closers on the back pockets - pointless. The fit is very 'skinny' and my Medium size was too uncomfortable, so I had to exchange for a Large - and I am not large! If you really are a very skinny person - fine, otherwise for a normal physique, go a size up. I would suggest that climbing trousers should not be a 'skinny' fit, but rather looser. The balance is always between fashion and function here, and function needs to be a priority for outdoor gear.
